We have an exciting Spirit Night coming up at Stevi B’s in Madsion. Tuesday August 12th from 11am-9:00pm a portion of the receipts turned in at the front counter will come directly back to MCDC! We will be handing out stickers to the children that day, and if you go to Stevi B’s with your sticker on, you will receive two free tokens. Stop right now, mark it on your calendar and then continue reading. J We also have Stevi B’s Fundraiser Cards for sale. They are $5.00 each and have over $65 worth of savings on them. Some of the savings are 20 free game room tokens, free kid’s buffet w/purchase of drink; buy 20 tokens get 20 free, free buffet Mon-Thur, and more! The cards do not expire until 12/31/14. Friday, July 25, 2014 - 3:00pm MCDC Parents: A few reminders: We have Stevi B’s fundraising cards for sale at $5 each. Each card has over $65 worth of savings and expires in December 2014. Please stop by the front offices to purchase! Cecilia F’s Baby Shower for her baby boy, is coming up on Wednesday July 30th from 12:30pm-2:30pm in the library. Cecilia is registered at Babies R Us. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 - 11:45am Please pass along to co-workers/friends: We will have 6 Pre-K (Preschool A) openings starting the second week of August. We accept children of NASA employees and contractors, as well as anyone who has access to Redstone Arsenal. Preschool A is the classroom that children attend the year before starting Kindergarten. We use the research based curriculum Creative Curriculum (which is the same curriculum used by the state funded preschools). Monday, June 30, 2014 - 12:30pm MCDC Parents: Wednesday July 2nd at 9:00am will be our annual Fourth of July parade!! We will begin lining the classrooms up in the front parking lot (in order of youngest to oldest) at 8:45am. All vehicles must be out of the front parking lot by 8:30am. Please make plans to drop your child off prior to 8:30am on Wednesday or you will need to park next door at the medical center. Please do not park in our grassy areas. There is also a dirt entrance that is for emergency vehicles only. Please park next door at the medical center if you plan on coming for the parade. You may bring strollers and wagons for your child to ride in and feel free to bling them up with as much patriotic flair as you want! If your child wants to ride a bike or tricycle, they must have a parent in attendance and with them at all times. The bikes/tricycles may not pass others and go to the front of the parade. If you have an infant or creeper and will not be able to attend, we do have strollers and a bye-bye buggy for them to ride in. The parade route crosses over Morris Road, circles in the facilities building parking lot and crosses back over to Morris Road to the center. Please invite family, friends and co-workers to come cheer us on or walk with us! The parade usually takes about 20-30 minutes to complete. We will have sugar free popsicles for everyone to enjoy after the parade on Wednesday! Please let me know if you have any questions. Hope to see you there!! Tuesday, June 10, 2014 - 9:45am MCDC Parents: Don’t forget the Father’s Day Store this Thursday. Explorers and Preschool participate in this event. Gifts are $2.00 each. There are envelopes in your child’s classroom to put your money in and list who your child is buying for. Donuts for Dad on Friday morning from 6:45am-8:45am! Stop by the lobby and enjoy!! We will be having a reception for Brittany A. on Friday the 13th from 12:30pm-2:30pm in the library. Please stop by to thank Brittany for her service and give her your best wishes!
