Don’t forget to sign up by Wednesday February 14th  for the Field Day with the Big Green Bus!  This is for children ages 2 and up.  Cost is $7.00.  Form and payment can be turned in to the front office.

NASA MCDC Class Portraits on Thurs. Jan 25th!

We adore the students and staff at MCDC and cannot wait to see y'all for class portraits on Thurs. Jan 25th!  We'll do our best to get everyone looking great!  Order your child's class portrait before Thurs. Jan 25th. and save $5 per portrait!  

• Class Portraits are PRE-SELL for $10!
• No forms will be distributed... ALL orders will be placed on-line. 
• Orders placed after Thurs. Jan 25th will be $15 each AND will require home shipping of $10... that's $25 for a single class portrait if ordered late!  
• Please order by Thurs. Jan 25.  to avoid the late shipping and handling fee.

In the event of any closures after hours; the only means of communication will be through our Facebook Page, Text Alert, and voice messages left on our three main phone lines.  256-544-8609, 256-544-8626 and 256-544-8607.

If Marshall Space Flight Center decides to close, MCDC will have to close as well.

If a closure is announced during our working hours, I will be able to send out an email as well as post to the other forms of communication listed above.  If you have not signed up for the Text Alerts, please do so.  If we have to close early, you will need to be able to receive that announcement.  To sign up for Text Alerts: text @MCDCF to 81010.

The  busted pipe should be fixed and water back on by the morning!  We will be operating on our normal hours.

MCDC Families,

We had an unplanned Fire Drill this afternoon due to a busted sprinkler head/pipe in the outside closet by the Preschool C classroom.  There is standing water in the back corner of Preschool C and outside.  Please avoid these areas.

As of right now, the water has been turned off to our building until repairs can be made.  I do not have an estimate on those repairs yet, as this has just happened and facilities is on their way.

I will keep you updated.
