JAYATI BHATTACHARJEE

I am Jayati Bhattacharjee. I will be working with your kids in Explorer A. I was born and brought up in Kolkata, India. I got my Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Development from the University of Calcutta. I moved to the United States in 2001 with my husband. I have lived in Huntsville for the past 18 years with my husband, daughter, and furry baby, Judah. My daughter is a senior at Grissom High School; she is going to Purdue University to study Mechanical Engineering. When my daughter turned 3, I started practicing and learning Montessori method with her early childhood education. Since 2009, I have been a Montessori teacher. I received my Infant and Toddler Montessori Credential from Mid-America Montessori Training Institutes in Omaha, NE. In the past 15 years I worked at the Montessori School of Huntsville. Now I am very  thrilled to join MCDC and looking forward to working and exploring with my new Explorer A class.

Besides working with kids, I like to spend time gardening and with my family.
