Hello and welcome to Toddler B! I am Cate, a few things about me is that I like hockey, art, and my dachshund, Moose. I am from Owensboro, Kentucky and moved here with my boyfriend in 2022, though I still visit home often to see my niece and nephew. I had Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at 18 and am in full remission, though I am careful when illnesses are spreading. I love Huntsville and am often looking for local events to attend on the weekends! I love being on the move which is helpful when teaching little ones. I am close with many families that have passed through Toddlers and I am a big believer in needing a village to raise wonderful children. If you feel the need to for an extra hand, do not hesitate!

I started babysitting when I was around 12 and have loved working with kids ever since. I often volunteer at my mom’s elementary school and starting working for Girl’s Inc. at 18 and have worked in a childcare setting since.

Kids this age learn through taste, touch, and play. I do hope that they get a bit mess at school.
